Description

180 cm Air-Cooled Refrigerated Prep Table for Line Preparation

The TG0.4CL2F is a 1.8 m air-cooled refrigerated prep table designed to sit directly in your working line. It combines a low, stainless work surface with a 2-door undercounter refrigerator, so you can keep ingredients chilled underneath and prepare food on top in the same footprint.

With around 458 L internal volume, a 0–10 °C working range and 1800 × 760 × 800 mm dimensions, it is suited to bakeries, cafés, pizza counters, sandwich shops and central kitchens that need an efficient prep station along the wall or behind the serving counter.

Prep-focused design advantages

  • Worktop built for continuous preparation

The 180 cm stainless surface gives you a straight, uninterrupted bench for cutting, assembling and finishing products. You can place cutting boards, scales and small appliances on top while using the base as immediate cold storage, which is ideal when every metre of bench space matters.

  • Air-cooled 0–10 °C storage directly under your hands

The cabinet holds a 0–10 °C range suitable for most fresh ingredients: cheese, sliced meats, vegetables, dairy, creams and toppings. Air-cooled circulation helps maintain more even temperature when the doors are opened frequently during busy prep periods.

  • Two-door undercounter layout for fast access

The 2-door design allows you to divide storage by ingredient type or station. Staff can open one side to grab what they need without exposing the entire cabinet, which reduces cold air loss and speeds up workflow on a crowded line.

  • Stainless steel construction for hygiene and durability

Stainless interior and exterior surfaces are smooth and easy to wipe down at the end of each shift. They withstand repeated contact with food containers, trays and cleaning chemicals better than painted or light-duty finishes, and they suit open kitchens where appearance matters.

  • Balanced performance for long service hours

With a moderate 213 W power rating and an air-cooled system, the TG0.4CL2F is built to run throughout the day without excessive power draw. For bakeries and cafés with long opening hours, this balance between capacity, stability and energy use is more practical than oversizing or using domestic-grade equipment.

Recommended applications

Bakeries and pastry shops

  • Use as a bench between mixing/sheeting and decoration: creams, fillings, fruits and garnishes stay in the cabinet below, while the top is used for cake finishing, sandwich assembly or pastry prep.

  • Keep daily-use ingredients at arm’s length but separate from bulk storage in uprights or cold rooms.

Pizza and sandwich counters

  • Store cheese, meats, vegetables and sauces in containers on adjustable shelves inside the cabinet.

  • Use the top as a cold-side prep bench beside your dough roller or pizza conveyor oven, so one operator can assemble and load in a compact space.

Cafés and beverage bars

  • Position the table behind the bar or service area: dairy, syrups, fruits and dessert components stay chilled under the counter.

  • The top can carry coffee equipment, blender bases or dessert plating space without needing extra tables.

Central and ghost kitchens

  • Line several prep tables along a wall to form a continuous chilled prep zone.

  • Assign different tables to different brands or menu sections inside a shared kitchen, simplifying organisation while keeping ingredient quality stable.

How does this prep table differ from the 180 cm flagship worktop refrigerator

You also have a flagship 180 cm worktop refrigerator (model TG0.4L2F). Both share similar size and capacity, but they serve slightly different roles:

  • TG0.4CL2F – 180 cm air-cooled refrigerated prep table (this page)
Optimised as a working station for cutting and assembly along the line.
Ideal where staff are constantly preparing and plating, opening the doors frequently for small amounts of product.

  • TG0.4L2F – 180 cm flagship worktop refrigerator
Positioned more as a heavy storage base with a strong top that can also carry other machines.
Better when you need deeper storage under one section of the bench and slightly less frequent door opening.

Layout and usage tips

  • Place the prep table where you genuinely do most knife and assembly work, not in a corner where it becomes “just another fridge”.

  • Avoid installing it flush against very hot equipment; leave some gap or shielding so the refrigeration system is not constantly fighting radiant heat.

  • Organise the inside by station: for example, left door for savoury ingredients, right door for desserts, or one side per brand in shared kitchens.

  • Use clear containers and consistent labelling to reduce door-open time; this also makes stock rotation easier.

  • Integrate the table into your cleaning checklist: wipe worktop and door gaskets every shift, and schedule periodic checks of the condenser and door seals to preserve cooling performance.
